Biography

Marc Bodman, MD is from Brooklyn, NY, USA, and grew up between Brooklyn, NY, Tel-Aviv, Israel, and Los Angeles, CA. Dr. Bodman attending college at the University of California, San Diego, CA and graduated with a BSc. with Honors in Biology. He attended medical school at Memorial University, in St. John's Canada, and completed a residency in Ophthalmology at the Louisiana State University, New Orleans. Dr. Bodman completed a research fellowship in Glaucoma under the late Dr. David Epstein, at Duke University, and a clinical fellowship at Yale University, and the Universite de Montreal. In the past Dr. Bodman has taught residents ophthalmic surgery as the Site Director of residency training in ophthalmology at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Fayetteville, NC with adjunct professorship at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill. Currently Dr. Bodman works at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center of Southern Nevada, Las Vegas, where he helped open a new ophthalmology program and is a staff ophthalmologist.

Research Interest

Eye care, glaucoma, cataract and cataract surgery, and optic neuropathies.
