Biography
Lisa Brothers Arbisser teaches cataract and anterior segment surgery worldwide. Currently Adjunct Professor at the University of Utah Moran Eye Center after an NIH research fellowship in neurobiology and retina, Texas MD and residency at the University of Iowa, she specializes in refractive and complex adult and pediatric cataract surgery. Known for teaching complication avoidance and management, as a surgical coach, researcher and lecturer, she retired from patient care, after 30 years of high volume surgery in the practice she co-founded. Having performed live interactive satellite surgery at major national and international meetings, she regularly teaches vitrectomy for the anterior segment surgeon and skills transfer labs. She reviews, edits and authors textbook chapters, journal articles, the American Academy Online News and Education Network, Focal Points and writes two regular columns. She is former president of the American College of Eye Surgeons, serves on the Arunodaya CharitableTrust board, is secretary of Women in Ophthalmology and has been designated a Living Legend by the American Women’s Medical Association. She is honored with numerous awards and distinctions both educational and philanthropic. Designated in the top 50 ophthalmic opinion leaders by CRST.

Biography
Fatima Iqbal has her expertise in cornea, low vision and pediatric care. ‘Aim high and achieve high’ is the vision statement she carries. She is working as full time faculty at School of Optometry, The University of Faisalabad and private practice at Abdullah Memorial Hospital. She is also Global Ambassador of Tfos (Tear film and ocular surface society) and member of American academy of Optometry. Her interest in cornea and tear film led her to conduct this study to evaluate pre and post cycloplegic effects on axial length and corneal curvatures. Her study also unveiled role of accommodation on described ocular structures. Her publications majorly light on the role of optometrist in early detection of serious systemic disorders and uncovering features of optical coherence tomography. Diversity in interest, best academic skills and competency in research awarded her with Gold Medal twice in optometry conferences.

Biography
Dr. Horn is the Associate Dean of Academic Programs and teaches the Communications in Optometric Practice course. He also provides lectures in the Sports and Recreational Vision, Ocular Disease I, Applied Ocular Therapeutics and Ocular Emergencies courses. He was elected as Chair of the the AOA Sports Vision Section Council in June 2014

Biography
Dr. Borchman received B.S. and Ph.D. degrees from Wayne State Unviersity before completing postdoctoral training at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York. His research is focused on ophthatmology and visual sciences, where his team recently characterized changes in human lens lipid composition with regard to age and cataract. This research led to the discovery of dihydrosphingomyelin, a major lens phospholipid. Dr. Borchman is also leading a group of research associates in studying the structure and interactions of the lipid tear film, which has yet to be fully described on a molecular level.

Biography
Shroug Aldaham has recently graduated from Complutense University of Madrid (UCM), Spain with a PhD degree in Optics, Optometry and Vision. She has a BSc (Hons) in Optometry from King Saud University (KSU), Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and a Master of Science in Vision Science from the University of Waterloo, Ontario, Canada. She has joined the Optometry department at KSU as a demonstrator (an academic position that prepares for professorship) before joining the Master program in Canada. After her masters she returned to Riyadh and later joined the PhD program at UCM. Both of her Masters and PhD studies were Saudi government-funded research grants. She has a research experience in pediatric vision screening and visual function testing in diabetics and has published in international optometric and vision research meetings. Her research interests are pediatric and diabetic visual function

Dr Gupta did his MS in 1984 and has ever since been working as faculty member at the Institute of Ophthalmology, Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh India. He was awarded the Prestigious Colonel Rangachari National Award in 1988 at Madras. He was awarded the University of Montreal fellowship Award in 2008 in Montreal, Canada. Dr Gupta has filed two patents for Intra Ocular Lens designs. He has presented papers in USA, Canada, France, Italy, Saudi Arabia, Indonesia, etc and has been invited as Guest speakers to many prestigious Conferences. He has several publications of original articles in Journals like the Graefe's Archives for Clinical and Experimental Ophthalmology-(USA), Visual Impairment Research-(Germany) and Asian Journal of Ophthalmology. His research field is innovative ophthalmology Devices based on Optics and electronics. He has more than 85 International internet citations.
