Presbyopia

Presbyopia is an age-related eye condition that makes it more hard to see very close. Presbyopia is an indication caused by the common course of maturing, not a malady. Presbyopia contrasts from myopia (partial blindness), hyperopia (farsightedness) and astigmatism, which are identified with the state of the eyeball and are caused by hereditary and ecological components. Not at all like these generally known eye issue, presbyopia is essentially a manifestation of maturing and in the end influences each person.

The principal indications of presbyopia are generally seen between the ages of 40 and 50, and can include:

Difficulty focusing on fine print and/or small objects (particularly in low light)

• The need to hold reading materials further away in order to focus
• Eyestrain when reading for long periods
• Momentary blurred vision when transitioning between viewing distances.
